As Public Health Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul is being blamed for perceived failures in handling Thailand’s latest and worst wave of COVID-19, whose tide of infections and deaths has triggered partial lockdowns in red zones including Bangkok.

COVID-19 patients concealing their chronology infect 20-30 Thai medics per day

BANGKOK, April 30 (Reuters) - Thailand on Friday reported 1,583 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country's total number of confirmed infections to 65,153 since the pandemic began last year.
