It appeared that the man was allowed to collect some clothes but didn't return. The kamnan (local leader) of Tha Chumphon sub-district Prasong Tinop made an urgent announcement for information as to the man's whereabouts as fears of Covid spread gripped the area. However health officials at Photharam Hospital managed to contact the man and talk him into returning. He drive back to the hospital on his bike. He was met outside the hospital in a specially adapted wheelchair. ' And what good did that achieve other than getting his name in the media? His visit, with entourage, just increased the risk of spreading infections. What happened to the issued advice. 'Stay home unless it is essential.' Unless you are the Governor of course. 1
