I don't post on thaivisa.com all that often, and in the past I'd be lucky if I had one person looking at my profile every 3 months.

 

But now, it seems like I am getting multiple people a day who are interested in my posts. I've been trying hard to make interesting/amusing posts recently, but I wasn't expecting to attract so many fans.

 

Frankly, I'm baffled. Does anyone have any theories to explain my sudden popularity?

That does make some sense. If the world is dead to thaivisa posters, perhaps they might resort to looking at my profile. Maybe they are hoping to find how all my posts are so clever and amusing?

i came up with another idea the moment i submitted,

did you change profile pic ? it might be catching eyes

Why do you keep checking your profile, because if you didn't, you wouldn't know that - as you allege, people keep looking at it ?

 

 

 

 

not really fans but i'd say that people are just curious to check out on a female in a forum dominated by males so don't think too much ????

If your sexy girl flaunt it, your avatar shows a beautiful sexy lady, that is what is drawing male members to your profile.

Post a profile pic with a mask....don't try and stand out

I go to my profile all the time to use 'view new posts', as the 'rollover' for 'view new topic' when you;re in a topic has disappeared since the forum troubles. 

It's just normal paranoia, nothing to worry about.

 

Of course, posting "Why are so many people looking at my profile" will attract more visitors to your profile to see what's so interesting.

Could  they are not interested in you at all.. They might be meaning to click on the title of your post, but clicking on your name underneath by mistake. The two are very close together.

That happend to me a few times (but only for posters who not had a profile picture), because they link of their profile somehow overlapped the see new posts...

Another part when I go look on a profile (happend about only 2-3 times in the past) is, when someone wrote something interesting about an area but not wrote where.. and I was hoping to find some information about the where in the profile or or or as some other  reasons (as the female profile picture) already have given.
