Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has decided unanimously in favour of serving a notice on Gen. Preecha Chan-o-cha, a senator and younger brother of Prime Minister Prayut, to acknowledge a charge of concealing assets belonging to himself and his wife while he was a member of the National Legislative Assembly, a parliamentary body active during the military regime of 2014-2019.

 

NACC Deputy Secretary-General Niwatchai Kasemmongkol said yesterday (Tuesday) that the corruption watchdog has not yet ruled that there are grounds to substantiate a charge of submitting a false asset declaration against Gen. Preecha, but it is in the process of serving a notice on him about the allegation.

 

He also said, however, that the former defence permanent secretary, who is also a senator, will have an opportunity to present evidence to rebut the allegation before the NACC makes a decision on any formal charges, if any.

Of course he will be cleared.

Remember a drug dealer and corrupt fat geezer with a watch fetish can be in this government,  a lowly senator who hides assets and has army funds in his private account will be cleared

they are just venting trying to redirect people's attention to some NACC non sense instead of worrying about the lack of vaccines.

 

We all know the corruption is part of their daily activities, all "konies/gang" members should be served notice, however we also know that would never happen, the connections between brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, cousins and so forth is there, everybody with 5 cents of a brain knows that but nobody will move against them, the ones who tried are in jail or under insvestigation

Nothing will happen other than bad press.  Maybe the PM will spray alcohol on reporters again.  These people could rob a bank in broad daylight and it would be written off as a misunderstanding. 
"Nothing to see here, move along commoners, move along!"
