fact of the matter is we don't know what rule changes by tomorrow. After another 14 days it will be  a whole new ball game.

I noticed that but didn't watch it. Maybe I will. But there is 1st class in some countries and a different 1st class in others.

what a shame. after all the hastle and paying 8000 baht for PCR tests, all we can do  is walk around the hotel.

If you don't have a specific destination in mind, you could fly from Phuket to Samui using the special Bangkok Airways Sandbox-Samui Plus flights still operating and continue your holiday there. There are four scheduled flights a week.
