Thai police prosecute 879 curfew violators in first 11 days

INN reported on the latest figures from the Royal Thai Police operations command center for checks on curfew and inter provincial movement. 

 

There are 179 checkpoints in 13 provinces checking on the curfew that exists between the hours of 9 pm and 4 am. 

 

In addition there are 55 checkpoints looking for illegal inter provincial movement.

 

Tens of thousand of vehicles and even more people have been checked for documents and apps. 

 

The bottom line for curfew violations is that 13,505 people were checked from July 11th to 22nd with 12,626 warned or having reason to be out.

 

But the police are pursuing prosecutions against the remaining 879 people for violating the curfew.

Something is not right in this report…

 

I have been starting to believe it is only foreigners who are breaking the regulations and contributing to the severity of increased covid cases. 

 

But….… Foreigners are not mentioned nor photographed with anyone pointed at them. At whom are we supposed to level our outrage ???

They record every person that was stopped?
