One of my "lockdown food experiments" is home cured bacon. Only started today so have to wait a week before we know if it's actually worked.

Sounds good... let me know how it turns out please.

And pics... gotta have pics!

Not really a serious issue but:-

No bacon at our local Makro.

I think that the food factories lockdowns are starting to hurt...

I used to get back bacon from makro but it always came in frozen blocks which was a bit inconvenient.

Likewise the sausages.

I ordered on Makroclick for home delivery.  Ordered on the 1st.  They showed up on the 5th.  Only called about 15 minutes beforehand.  And then out of the 35 items I ordered they only had 16 of them.  We are still trying to get the rest or get a refund.  Called them again today and they said they will look into it and call us back.

Pretty sad service.

Interesting.

Sounds good.

It's good busy during these times.

Even better if it's cured bacon.

Every once in awhile when my wife sees on of those trucks hauling pigs she says she isn't going to eat pork any more.  But the next time she sees bacon she forgets all about that.

'slices' ain't 'sliced' ????????

Maybe, just maybe, they made up a new word (slices) that means 'looks like sliced, but not sliced'. ????

Designed to confuse farangs. The Thai just says "sandwich bread" nothing about slices.

I buy four of these evey week, and they have all been sliced. Good for making toasted Club Sandwiches, which my partner sells to Thais. No complaints.
