Thailand to consider extending lockdown amid warning over rising cases

Featured Replies

Fully vaccinated 6 months ago.

Started feeling bad this week.

First stomach pain.  Then nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, chills, headache and brain fog. Fever started yesterday.  Which is good I think as long it's under 37-38.  Some healthy people can even handle up to 40.  This means your immune system is fighting with the virus by turning up your body temperature via the hypothalamus.  It's one of its many tools to fight microbial infection.

Little bit of pain in my lungs.

Eating chicken noodle soup.  Today felt better and ate some Peruvian Rotisserie chicken. ????

There's new research that just came out that these mutations (variants) can be the reason why we're seeing more and more "breakthrough" cases.  Some mutations can evade the vaccines easier than others.

Even in highly vaccinated areas.  Both vaccinated and unvaccinated people are potential sources of variants.

A vaccine almost, almost always protects you from dying or being seriously ill.

The people getting seriously sick or dying are "almost all unvaccinated".

Be careful out there.

Just took a spit test should get the results in a day or two.  I'd be shocked if I don't test positive.

My wife already prepaid for the Moderna shot in Thailand.  And you know how Thai people live in the moment and don't like to prepay for things.  She said the hospital's website crashed because there was so many people trying to pay for a shot.

And you know what really makes me sad? There's dumbass horse paste eaters in America who could get a vaccine already FREE and the Thai people are begging for vaccines.

And a way of life back to "normal".

Which was obviously inadequate to prevent severe economic and has killed about 5 million people....so far.

"Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness" are words in in our Constitution.

What do they mean?

Well, if you don't have life, you won't have any liberty, freedom or individual choice.

And you sure as hell won't be pursuing happiness (unless you believe in Fairy Tales).

Wear a mask (I think this is how I got it by not wearing a mask 100% of the time when I'm outside my home or car)

Heck, I see people wearing masks driving alone in the Bay Area all the time.

Now that's an abundance of caution.

Get vaccinated. Stay healthy.

Eat life supporting food.

Get exercise, clean water, sunshine and fresh air and enough sleep.

Stay safe, everyone.

Don't be stupid like me. ????

  • The UK (with the same population as Thailand) has had 87 million vaccinations but still has 30,000 cases a day. So anyone hoping for a zero Covid situation (looking at you Australia and NZ) is going t

  • At least, we have a "timeline"... 2 weeks per 2 weeks. ???? It helps.   The main problem is : even with 70 or 80 % of the population fully vaccinated... the virus could still be there.

  • How about everybody with a snout the the trough work together to order, import and distribute adequate quantities of effective vaccinations in a timely fashion?
