When the return to school was announced after the first lockdown, the kids had grown and we had to buy some new bits of uniform, especially shoes.

 

That return to school was cancelled and another lockdown announced which is still now in effect.

 

To day, just for fun the kids tried on their shoes and already they have outgrown the shoes bought after the last lockdown.

 

So now have brand new shoes never worn that are already too small. 

 

Think at the next announcement of return to school will send them in flip flops on the first few days just to see if school is actually open for real.

Wait until your kids grow up and you are buying Nike for uni, and paying 8500 a month for condos that they are not living in.

How about shoes which can be used for school and also the rest of the day?

I'm in the same boat got all new stuff for my granddaughter for May, pay money tuition no word that money is going to be refunded or reduced got the shoes, socks then announced closed.  I put them out a few weeks ago price tag 100 baht per pair snap up in seconds by a Thai even they are in the same boat?????

Can be used out of school, but they are a bit clunky and not very practical for playing.

I'm sure there are some local families that will appreciate them, but it's not really about the money, more about the confusion about school starting or not.

Gladly donated outgrown shoes and uni's to needy folks in the village.

Tried that but the neighbors complained about the wailing kids staggering about on skinny legs.

 

And the kids themselves complaining how all the other kids were growing bigger, in the end it was just easier to start feeding them again.
