Koh Larn to reopen from August 31st, vaccinated visitors only rule appears to have been dropped

All Chonburi Covid-19 rules apply to the island, including a ban on large gatherings and a nightly curfew from 9:00 P.M. to 4:00 A.M. Beaches have not been announced as being able to open yet by the Chonburi governor so at least on the 31st, they will still be closed unless orders change.

Go to an island where you can view the beaches from a distancing... sounds almost too good to miss.

so the most people can expect from a trip to Koh Larn is a ride on a ferry tightly packed with a crowd of unvaccinated people - yippie

Crossing this time of year can be dangerous regardless of Covid 19. Tatty old boats and rough seas. Past experience has proved to me that the rules there are unpredictable and enforced by little dictators who love to turn people away for the slightest reason, so we will not be returning until the rules are clear which knowing Thailand could be some time away.

Laughable...????

Absolutely. Curfew, beach closed. What about restaurants/dine in/alcohol? What should attract people?

Circling with the scooter enjoying the view?

Change or forget.

Will tourists be allowed to stand in the sea near to the beach?

Yes, but not allowed to cross the beach to get there. So a boat or jump off the pier.

DOesnt matter if you are vaccinated or not, it only helps hospitals.

You are vaccinated, your body can fight the infection and symptoms are less.

If not, you could suffer more and need hospital for respiration.

As vaccinated one you can carry virus and infect non infected (vaccinated or not)

The boat trips to Koh Larn occasionally don't make it all the way there (or back).  The unclean unvaccinated might be the least of the worries of any one-way daytripper.

99% of all Covid deaths in the US are the unvaccinated.

That is what i politely said "If not, you could suffer more"

if you are vaccinated, you still can have covid, but you could survive.

We had 12 elderly people  in elderly home, fully vaccinated with Pfizer, having covid.

They survived, probably due to Pfizer

Anybody, vaccinated or not can be a carrier, feeling sick or not (due to vaccine).

Now you have, i think, the amazing discussion of vaccinated people dont want to be in touch with non vaccinated.

You have separation, discrimination in it and non vaccinated people are shut off. Meaning social pressure to get vaccination.

And that doenst make sense. As long where ever the virus is alive, it is a threat. No matter vaccinated or not.

For your own protection, if you dont want the risk of dying on it, you should have a vaccine.

As long as the virus is alive and mutates every time, it is the question if vaccination helps you then.

However i read more and more about doctors stepping back from vaccination, as in their opinion it is not good. They dont vaccinate anymore.

It is up to anybody to have vaccine or not. OK sometimes you dont have a choice even, like in Hong Kong with companies or a France in healthcare and many other countries. You are forced.

I choose eventually to have the Pfizer vaccine, fully vaccinated now and have to see what it brings in side effects later.

But ok if you had covid survived, there could be also side effects.

There are people still suffering with their body after they had  and recovered from covid.
