Okay  maybe December 1st or `15th as Christmas is coming, and so is New Years.

I will wait until mid November before getting even a bit excited about Thailand s

tourist season restarting.

Even if Hua HIn reopens whenever, does that mean the night time entertainment open, and would there still be a curfew?

Rather than reopen on October 1, new plans could now see Hua Hin and Cha Am given the green light to reopen to vaccinated foreign tourists from mid October.

I reckon Nov 1st as the new date.

"One item currently being discussed is to advise people travelling to the 14 provinces in Southern Thailand to avoid Hua Hin by using the Cha-Am to Pranburi bypass road, in order reduce the risk of potential infections in the town."

Does Covid now seep in and out of moving vehicles?

They should use the bypass anyway ... Petchkasem is a polluted nightmare. And with the prevailing daytime breezes coming off the sea, the nitrous oxide and particulate matter gets spread right across the city.

I think what you have to remember is no real decent airline is going to start laying on many flights to Thailand for Christmas with no definite dates in advance and passengers certainly aint booking on the off chance. Thailand needs to be declaring months in advance , not days. Airlines are not at the beck and call of Thailand's Junta !
