The three major factors the Thai government is using to determine provinces ready to open to foreign vaccinated tourists

Bangkok – In June, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O’Cha had previously declared his statement to reopen the country within the next 120 days. That date is expected to be due within mid-October, however, it is likely to be postponed for at least another two weeks, following the suggestions of a sub-panel meeting of the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA).

Nearly 1.3m COVID-19 inoculations given in Thailand on Mahidol Day

 

 

The Thai Ministry of Public Health has exceeded its target of administering one million doses of COVID-19 vaccines on Mahidol Day, with a combined total of 1,299,307 first, second and third jabs administered, according to Public Health Permanent Secretary Dr. Kiattibhoom Vongrachit.

Heavy rain and flooding expected to worsen in several of Thailand’s provinces

 

 

Several northern, north–eastern and central provinces of Thailand are partially under water today and the flooding is expected to get worse, as the Thai Meteorological Department warns of heavy rain tonight and tomorrow, as a direct result of the Dienmu atmospheric depression, which has weakened into strong low pressure cell.

Fifty-nine people arrested at illegal birthday party in Bangkok, drugs also reportedly found

Thai Commando Police raided an illegal birthday party at a hotel in Bang Khen early this morning (September 25th) where they reported that they found 59 people who were arrested for allegedly violating the Emergency Decree rules to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus.

Thailand’s August exports grow 8.9%

 

 

BANGKOK (NNT) - Thailand’s export sector has seen 8.93% year-on-year growth in August this year, with a slight slowdown as some manufacturing lines were closed, due to COVID-19 outbreaks. The Ministry of Commerce says the sector is growing well, despite some minor setbacks.
