Had problem with PC and traced it to the AC adapter , so ordered a new

one from Shoppee , but it has different configuration , original + -o - - ,

that's Plus don't know what middle sign is followed by - negative,

on the one I have just bought , its - o - + , if I use it will it damage my PC,

I thought it better to put into electrical forum ,than the IT forum , one other

thing the sockets that I use for the PC 's are UK ones so + - are reversed ,

Thai has L on the left,  UK  L is on the right. (in a plug)        both adapters are 12V 5 A ,

thanks in advance

Is it a PC or laptop ?

If a PC im totally confused as a PSU is easy to install unless your PC is really old. If its a laptop with its adapter I would always try to get an original instead of using a generic. (unless many reviews state its works good with a certain laptop)

Its a mini PC so just uses an AC adapter , like a laptop.

Ah ok that explains it, original adapters were not available ?

Anyway let wait for the experts to give you more info on the markings.

it is virtually impossible to show the connection of the plug using symbols in writing.

However they are both negative shield positive tip that’s the way pictograms show. The large dot is the tip the cut O/C is the shield connection.
