Mr Thaksin appeared to discourage the idea suggesting that a more enthusiastic and younger person was required for the role. A video clip of the interaction is being taken by Palang Pracharat Party MP, Sira Jenjaka (centre), to the Election Commission with a complaint under Section 92 of the political parties act claiming that Mr Thaksin is a dominant influence on the party and that consequently, it should be disbanded.
