Toyota fuel pump recall

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

Hello All

I went to Toyota garage yesterday for Service and was told they would have to replace the fuel pump, which took about 2 extra hours.  The exchange was free.  I had not heard of anything before this.  Apparently the fuel pumps could develop a leak and thus fire danger.  I checked the internet and found info about the recall.  It involves mostly cars,  If you have not heard about this check the internet to see if you are affected.

Just thought I would give some info out.

Must have affected a lot of cars. My Honda H-RV also required a new fuel pump as part of a recall. This is an important safety recall. Get it checked.

Model? Year?

A Google search yields quite a few toyota fuel pump recalls, all a bit different.

Don't know exactly but I think it was from June 2021.  800,000 cars I believe.  You should check with dealer
