A team of Thai students from Assumption College Thonburi has won “The Best Achievement Onboard Award” in the final round of the 2nd Kibo Robot Programming Challenge.

 

The international competition was jointly organized by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and the US’s National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), under the Japan-US Open Platform Partnership.

 

Japanese astronaut, Akihiko Hoshide, supervised the competition on board the Kibo Module on the international space station (ISS).

I was thinking the same thing.  lol

I once knew a Thai nuclear physics masters graduate who was head of system security at the Nuclear Reactor in Bangkok (yes there is one). She was on 24,000 baht a month. She eventually escaped to be the youngest IAEA inspector based in in Vienna.

 

I was so happy for her.

There was/is also a Thaivisa member who worked at the same place I wonder if they are one and the same ?
