Is it possible to load Mor Chana on an iPhone before arrival in Thailand ?

 

Have you tried going into the App store and downloading it?

 

Yes...but you may need to change your country settings in Google Play to Thailand....can only make one switch per year

Adelphi . . . cheers. The iPhone is my first smart phone and I'm a slow learner ! My UK helper will load it before I fly to save me embarrassment at BKK LOL. Will arrive with my 'TrueMove' sim in place.

It downloaded here in Australia to my Samsung smartphone.

 

Using my Telstra Australia SIM card since tried to open it but get a message 'failed to open'.

 

Tried my AIS SIM card, same message 'failed to open'.

 

My plan is to put my AIS SIM card into my Samsung soon after we depart Sydney (soon), but I guess I'll need to download Mor Chana quickly on arrival in Bkk. 

Yep, I installed and setup both Mor Channa and ThailandPlus on my iphone while still in the UK.  This was just using my home wifi network.

 

I even uploaded a nice self photo to my profile ????

At some point could you do a "trip report". Thinking many would find it useful/helpful.
