Popular Post webfact
By Natcha Patanasophon An opposition parliamentarian on Thursday responded to the ruling Palang Pracharat Party’s condemnation of those who have pushed for the reopening of entertainment venues and said that government support to the sector was imperative. Taopiphop Limjittrakorn, a Member of Parliament from the Move Forward Party, told Thai Enquirer that the government should not neglect the difficulties night entertainment business owners are facing. “Many business owners are willing to follow the government’s Covid-19 restrictions. They should be allowed to open with strict measures,” he said. Popular Post CrunchWrapSupreme
It's really a joke at this point. My entire school came to take their Covid test the other day as they'll be returning to school soon. Other than spreading each level out to come at different times of the day, few other protective measures were taken. Before and after the test kids were congregating, talking, playing as normal. Somehow everyone tested negative. Perhaps there were some positives no one's talking about as they want to open. Yet they seem to be accepting the risk. Crowded shopping malls are open, the schools are opening, the BTS is packed everyday. This hanging onto the bars staying shut is just teetotaling, puritanical nonsense. 42 2

Crusader
I can feel for the owners of places that are still not able to open, but it seems like some places can just get away with anything. Pubs open in Bangkok now...the ones I have visited over the past couple of weeks (quiet times)...no social distancing / no check if vaccinated or not / some customers not checking temperature on the way in etc. etc.

The mind-set being bars are open Covid is over. As noted in Phuket the opposite is true, which has shown a marked increase in infections related to bars/entertainment venues. While I'd like to see everything open people can't be trusted... and that's the truth. 4 1 3 1

Mankind in all his (hers/zers/zim....insert your pronoun of choice to suit your self identified gender) wisdom and modern medical science has only ever eradicated one virus (smallpox) and that was only because the virus was not a zoological virus and shared by animals. Colditz-19 is a zoological and can never be eradicated with current known science. But otherwise you are correct - Colditz-19 is the current fear du jour being used by the oligarchs to control us. Climate change wasn't working as well as they'd hoped as a control mechanism so they used the colditz-19 event as a more tangible, immediate and imminent crisis as their weapon of fear. Meanwhile they're ramping up efforts on climate fear and the new hatred towards energy and the powerhouse of the world's economy. The shift away from colditz-19 fear to a heightened climate fear and energy outrage will be almost seamless. Coldita-19 is the ultimate weapon of Pavlovian "conditioning". The "conditioned" normies that are now so fearful of colditz-19 will be easily convinced to adopt the climate fear mantra. Unfortunately the world is run by those that know how gullible and fearful the Pareto's 80% of the population are. Always have and always will. 9 2
