PM Thanks Thais for Making Bangkok the Best Workation City

BANGKOK, Dec 9 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha was grateful to Thai people and relevant organizations for making Bangkok the Best Workation City, according to government spokesman Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana.

 

Mr. Thanakorn said Gen Prayut acknowledged the Best Workation City status of Bangkok and the joint 10th Best Workation Cities recognition for Phuket and Chiang Mai according to the ranking by Holidu, a German website for vacation destinations.

 

Bangkok was considered as the best place for work with the cost of living that everyone can afford.

Great news, after this statement, it seems like digital nomads and remote workers have nothing to fear about work permit...

Do something about the smog and the horrendous traffic jams and it may actually be the best workation city. Maybe also make it (a lot) easier to get long-term visas.

Oxymoron word, workation.  It is either work, or a vacation. 

 Thankfully I am retired, so I only vacation, when I leave my home.
