Lots of Liverpool supporters that don't come from Liverpool.

No mate.... we have been through this already. He isn't from the Merseyside Liverpool! Neither does he support the football team.

Not everyone is the same as you, many expats actually came here for work.

I came here to get away from work, just having a few in the Crown Royal in Patpong nice little bar better when it had customers.

Finish this then off for something to eat.

So did I and same to you even though I'm not a Scouser!

I was on a theological discussion site a while ago discussing with a "Liverpool" person. Things were going downhill and I said that he was a typical Liverpool pape.

Turned out he was from the USA or Canada.

Did you ever "think" bars are beers will be all you do for the rest of your life? Really?

Since my first Thailand holiday and since I live here I enjoyed bars and beers. But not only!

I don't think there is any one activity which is fun 24/7. Do a little bit of this and a little of that and enjoy life!

Well I did indulge for a year or so when I retired but the Mrs was not very happy with me dancing on table's with the girls when she came to pick me up from the local bars further from our village. ????????????

Never did like bars much, sitting on a stool hunkered over a beer staring at poor dancing to bad music.

That's a gogo not a bar. In a bar you sit or stand drinking beer and having a stimulating conversation.

There may or may not be ladies available for rent or hire, and you may or may not take one.

It is really a personal choice thing I rarely go to bars myself maybe 5 times a year.

Get plenty of social interaction playing golf, going to the gym, or meeting girls online, getting massages just don't have much desire for bars.

When they were open same with the clubs like Ibar just loud, crowded, younger folks who all seem to be acting fake girls dancing with a drink in one hand and their phone in the other all into themselves.

Much of life is like that. For some of us anyway. For you it is obviously non-stop excitement.

Been camping here for decades and like States it's really taking off here.

People can still eek out a bit of freedom away from the stupid hysteria over masks and covid.

Of course, OP is broke, has no hobbies and few interests. Can't travel to other countries but I imagine there's a lot of Thailand that he hasn't seen. With 40 million tourists not in the country and a lag in the economy I can't think of a better time to go have a look.

Lots of attractive young women camping as well. If you have any sort of camping or bushcraft skills being able to knock up a tent quick or hang a hammock... I literally met my wife by offering to sort out her hammock for her.

Some great national parks up country as well as islands in the Andaman

Or you can play video games, watch porn and continue to moan.

Having a couple of beers by the beach in the sun is very enjoyable, never get bored with that. But if that was the basis of your life then sure it will be boring. If you want boring try Doncaster UK on a wet, cold Monday night in January.

Nowt up wi Donny..................................................... Nah your right ????

Have you tried joining any expat clubs in your area to expand your circle of friends ? Certainly in the Pattaya area there are two expat clubs that I know of. Not sure where you’re located, but could be an option for you.

Never too late to change?Find a hobby and look for another type of crowd to

hang out with.

To be honest i did your scene but not very long, now i have a fantastic other,a bunch of hobbies

and there are not enough hours in a day.

Very popular right now is camping, get a small motorbike load a tent and a few other things and just go!

A change of horizon will do you good,no one can chance your life but you.

Somewhere is this 'mix' there's folks who should never have tried to retire in LOS, never have got into the path of successive never ending visas. And those who, if they're honest, couldn't afford it but did it anyway and live on the smell of an oily rag and continuously complain about it and will continue to do so until they drop.

Moving to live in another country is far more complicated / emotional that many folks realize.

Maybe Thailand is for people with sociopath tendencies, I feel no satasfaction here  hanging around bars and drinking alcohol anymore.

I had all the satisfaction one could desire and my last year in LOS I did not hang around bars or drink alcohol.

Find something else that you do have satisfaction doing. Volunteer at a orphanage or move to a beach, or any of a hundred different things that you could do in LOS.

no bored per se. I enjoy sitting on Soi 4 and just watching the world go by. I just feel a bit jaded after 17 years of it. Funnily enough i have a lot more fun sinking a few Leos and a couple of doobies with mrs Nik on a Saturday night.

I think you hit on the combination of the top three ingredients for a comfortable life.

Enjoy and be grateful.

Anyone else bored of the bar scene and the beer drinking in Thailand? I feel deep emptiness and dissatisfaction.

Like other things in life… If you get bored of it, then do something else.

Create your own happiness.

Ha, I didn't have time to get bored before I retired, now retired I find there is even less time to get bored and I'm TT????.

I think there is only one basic rule...something isn't right and you don't like it...change it. Best of luck.
