I mentioned a few years ago that these two topics about music

should be joined but the idea got rejected.

My argument was that music is timeless and good music can be find

any where anytime as long as you are willing to look for it with an open mind.

Maybe the time is right,now?

I am all for merging these topics so you don't have to follow to different ones.

I still find good music i have not heard before in both.

someone starts a thread very similar to several others, and then answers it himself TEN times. Silly.

Thanks for the comment. Sorry to offend you. I posted some of my personal favourites to set the ball rolling and perhaps generate some interest from like minded individuals.

I've been watching these guys alot lately. Fun band who enjoy themselves playing catchy songs.

I was really expecting more, given the thread title, it's just old school top ten rock we get bored <deleted>less hearing in every pub worldwide!

Nothing wrong with nostalgia, but how about some amazing (often better) covers?

Keeping to the original OP

Then from my old stomping ground of Tooting. ("Power to the people" Walter Henry 'Wolfie' Smith 1977)

Although from the creative talents of Malcolm and Angus...

You were expecting more from me? Sorry to disappoint you. It's probably because I AM old school which is reflected in my posts. BTW I am more likely to click on an embedded link which shows the artist/title rather than click on a "blind" link, without knowing what it is first. Others opinions may differ.

Sorry about the links, I'm in a hurry.

Nothing wrong with old school, but as I said your thread seemed to promise more than the same old top ten we hear every day. Peace out.

She refused to be bored chiefly because she wasn't boring.

She saw shrewdly that the world is quickly bored by the recital of misfortune, and willingly avoids the sight of distress.
