Report EU and US Strike Blockbuster Deal: 15% Tariffs on EU Exports
We are discussing this 15% tariff from EU to the US, of which US consumers and companies will have to pay for, and what the result will be on that. That's only one direction. The EU has zero tariff on a lot of US products brought to Europe, and is not changing their stand on that, or their tariffs. -

Thai - Cambodia Conflict Thai Army Condemns Cambodia for Ceasefire Violation
UPDATE Thailand to Submit Evidence of Ceasefire Violations by Cambodia to China & US Picture courtesy of Amarin. Thailand is set to present evidence to China and the United States on 29 July, detailing violations of the ceasefire agreement by Cambodian forces along the shared border, according to Government Spokesman Jirayu Huangsap. Speaking at a press briefing on 29 July, Mr Jirayu confirmed that the Thai government has collected preliminary evidence of multiple breaches of the ceasefire across seven border provinces. The situation is being closely monitored by the First and Second Army Regions, which are compiling a final report identifying the locations and nature of the violations. The spokesman outlined four key points agreed during this morning’s cabinet meeting: 1. The Royal Thai Armed Forces have been instructed to fully defend national sovereignty and maintain troop readiness along the entire border until the situation improves. 2. The Thai government reaffirmed its decision to recall its ambassador from Phnom Penh and to expel Cambodia’s ambassador from Bangkok. 3. The Ministry of Interior and relevant agencies have been tasked with supporting communities affected by the conflict, including evacuation operations to be overseen by the Thailand-Cambodia Border Operations Command Centre (TCBOC). 4. The TCBOC will continue to meet and communicate regularly with the public to provide updates. Mr Jirayu confirmed that the National Security Council (NSC) and TCBOC convened on the morning of 29:July, to discuss the latest developments. A formal communication, including detailed documentation of the violations, will be sent later, to international observers, specifically the governments of China and the United States. In response to Cambodian media claims that their military has ceased hostilities, Mr Jirayu said that while Cambodia is free to make such statements, the Thai military remains on full alert and continues to uphold national sovereignty. “We have acted with military professionalism and restraint throughout,” said Mr Jirayu. “We have not targeted civilian areas, whereas Cambodian actions have been aggressive and well-documented by international media. The contrast is clear.” The spokesman added that Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, in his role as ASEAN Chair, has facilitated ongoing diplomatic efforts to restore peace in the region. “Freedom and peace must prevail in Southeast Asia,” he stated. Later on 29:July, the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs is expected to deliver a detailed report to the international community outlining the precise incidents of aggression, including times, locations, types of weapons used, and the Thai military’s measured responses. Asked how many violations had occurred, Mr Jirayu said a full count was still being finalised but confirmed that forward military positions had come under attack. Specific coordinates and technical assessments would be provided by the Ministry of Defence. He also revealed that Thai forces had already anticipated possible breaches before the midnight ceasefire deadline and were on full alert as early as 04:00, reflecting scepticism over Cambodia’s intentions. “Past experience tells us not to take their words at face value,” he noted.
