Hope the pole makes a full recovery.

TIT.

Sadly I think amputation is going to be the only outcome.

The power pole carnage continues after 11 of them were downed yesterday by the weight of cables.  Prayuth should form a committee to look into this wilful slaughter of the innocents.

Always they are 'power poles' My theory is that the flow of electricity causes an electro-magnetic effect which actually attracts vehicles within range. These poor drivers are innocent and should be compensated.......????

A woman with a pole fetish. Nothing to see here, as it´s a very common fixation.

Hold on I am confused, normally it is reported the car is at fault for hitting the pole, never that a person was in control of said car!

Agreed.... there is clearly something wrong with the headline...  I’ve fixed it... :whistling:

The Pattaya City Police was notified of poles jumping into the road at an intersection on Pattaya Third Road. They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to point at a damaged pickup truck and offending power pole.

The driver, Ms. Janpen Unsamrong, 40, from Nakhon Ratchasima, had sustained several injuries inside the pickup truck caused by amulet failure.

Police are still trying to determine who fled the scene. The metropolitan authority have erected a new power pole to provide target practice for other motorists.

According to the FULL story; It happened on a curve and she swerved to avoid another vehicle in the opposite lane. So one or both of them were cutting the "curve" IMO

No, she can't get the dancing around a pole out of her system.  The temptation is too strong and a lifetime of practice.  After all she's only 40.
