webfact
Picture: Thai Rath Region 7 RTP chief Pol Lt-Gen Thanayut Wuthijarasthamrong updated the press on the murder of a British man and attempted murder of a compatriot at a briefing at the Muang Kanchanaburi police station yesterday afternoon. In custody after his arrest on a warrant is Prasoot Thipthep, aged 22. Taken into evidence was a sickle and the shoes and clothes worn by the alleged assailant. He is under stress and his father was present as investigators tried to get to the truth, reported Thai Rath. He was reluctant to speak. The incident happened at 4 am outside some rented rooms in Soi Sri Lanka in Tha Makham sub-district. Murdered was Marcus John, 50, and Seriously injured and now in hospital was Shaun Kevin. These are clearly first and middle names, notes ASEAN NOW. Other information circulating online and unconfirmed suggested the decease had the surname Evans and is 49. Lt-Gen Thanayut said that the assailant had come out of a nearby house and fled to a relative's house after the attack. A mental health evaluation of the suspect is underway. Thanayut promised justice for both sides. Tourism officials have visited the injured man in hospital. Popular Post law ling
Except perhaps in extreme cases, the concept of "mental health" is somewhat nebulous and subjective. Succinctly put; I count 14 photo-cops proudly claiming credit for the arrest of a mentally disturbed man. If they dismissed 90% of RTP there would be no change to the crime figures or road casualty deaths. A police job is a sinecure for life with a permanent Get-out-of-jail card. 14 3

Popular Post BritManToo
If I ever get the urge to murder someone in Thailand, I'll just claim they were drunks playing loud music late at night and expect to get let off with a week as a monk and an apology to their next off kin. No need for me to claim mental illness, that's obvious. Edited January 24, 2022 by BritManToo 4 1

I asked him ''why did you kill my husband?'' 'I said I was very angry at him. I said ''why couldn't you talk or ask nicely? You could have told me or told the police, but you shouldn't have killed him'' due to his disabilities he doesn't know right from wrong and people playing music after 3am should know better .. its a sad story for everyone 2 4 6
Popular Post Denim
One thing is a bit unusual in this incident. There were two Brits , sitting together and presumably talking to each other. If they were talking to each other for several hours the music might not have been that loud since who in their right minds wants to shout above music to be heard for several hours ?? Sore throats much. It only makes sense if the music was coming from a back bedroom and it was cranked loud to reach the front. The offended Thai might have had his bedroom backed onto the bedroom where the music was coming from. So loud for him but not so loud out front ? Just speculating as to this apparent unclear point. Sore throats much. maybe not loud to a normal person but loud to a person with disabilities Also let me share this too .. Education For Children with Disabilities Legally, all disabled persons are entitled to 12 years of free, basic education. However, the vast majority of schools in Thailand do not cater for disabled children. As a result, a child with a disability attends a special school which caters only to children with similar disabilities. Not many schools cater to disabled children so it is not always easy for children with disabilities to get an education. There was a small wireless speaker on the stone table outside, so you're right, I doubt it could have been that loud as they were both only a couple of feet from the speaker.
