International Covid Certificate for VTL travel to Singapore

Featured Replies

I am planning a trip to Singapore and for VTL they require: "International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate issued by the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health".  Furthermore it says that this can be retrieved by selecting "International Certificate" on the Mor Prom App.

The problem is that I clicked on "International Certificate" and went through the process (a few times) of requesting a certificate only to receive an error message after submitting.  I made sure to upload a picture of my passport and selected a booking date for tomorrow.

Am I missing something here?

Also would there be an easier way to get the certificate (such as visiting the hospital where I was vaccinated) which would be acceptable for VTL travel to Singapore.

I really don't know why there is the need for this extra step as I have both my paper certificate and all of the associated data on Mor Prom, with the exception of the International certificate...

I can access my digital certificate on the app.

Tap International Certificate and just below the QR code is a hot link

'Tap to Show the Digital Vaccination Certificate'

and the electronic certificate is revealed

Are you choosing a delivery date that is at least 3 wirking days away? If you choose one that's too soon, it errors out.

Yes this seems to be why he's getting the error since he said he's selecting "tomorrow".

I just tried again and selected the 31st for delivery date and still came up with an error message.

Interestingly most of the form is already filled out but lists my nationality as Thai.  I change that, add my email, phone number and PP expiry date (along with photo of PP) and select a delivery date more than three business days away to still find the dreaded error code.  Any further advice would be appreciated...

Might help if you specified the error message or posted a screenshot.

Unless it's changed, you don't really get an error message. At least nothing meaningful.

Try again tomorrow because it could just be a site glitch. Check the info is correct, use a date far enough ahead, check the format of your dates and phone number. Keep trying.

The app is just really poorly programmed

Dear All,

Many thanks for weighing in to my queries on the subject, which is much appreciated!

Just to recap: I continued to try and received a message stating: Error: data corrupted. please capture this error and send to administrator. detail: "data"; ERROR:-999".

Finally I realized that when I initially took the photo of my PP, it came in upside down and that I had rotated it in the gallery on my phone.  Apparently this was picked up as an "edited" photo of the passport. Took a new one  and re-tried the process and apparently all good for now.

Hopefully this may help others who are as anachronistic with regards to mobile technologies as myself...

Stay well!
