Do they stop heart attacks and strokes?

.Heart-disease risk soars after COVID — even with a mild case

Even a mild case of COVID-19 can increase a person’s risk of cardiovascular problems for at least a year after diagnosis, a new study1 shows. Researchers found that rates of many conditions, such as heart failure and stroke, were substantially higher in people who had recovered from COVID-19 than in similar people who hadn’t had the disease.

What’s more, the risk was elevated even for those who were under 65 years of age and lacked risk factors, such as obesity or diabetes.

Why ? im fully vaccinated and I can still get the virus and spread it too.

  • Thus we see divisions in society being promoted by the media who are ceaselessly, carelessly and pointlessly fuelling the paranoia. Enough.

  • Plenty of room on the wings for them.....

Just trawling through some UK travel insurance quotes and was quite surprised to see this new exclusion popping up on several providers Ts&Cs:

If this no vax/no cover ethos gains traction in the industry then wont be many non vax'd boarding flights to Thailand any how

I think this is a fantastic idea; plus they should also be required to wear a visible scarlet "UV" on their shirt or blouse while flying so they can be easily identified & thus avoided!

not a surprising result considering that most of the participants likely fall into the old/fat/comorbidity group who are likely to die if they got infected.

Even that group likely has a 98% or better survival rate

Not much help sitting in a different area on the plane as all on board share the same air .

One person infected with tuberculosis has infected many on a passenger plane on many occasions in the past .

Best option is to stay at home

Meanwhile your lovely stewardess serves both sides and interacts with both side coworkers. Perhaps you should also bring a tank with oxygen in that case, to ensure you not breathe the same air, a full face diving mask be best, to avoid it coming trough your eyes at the same time.

Or just move to Alaska and stay far from humans, they are so dangerous.

Thats fine, that lovely stewardess is vaxxed, is not sitting next to me eating with no mask on and her regular negative tests would not be fake ones, which was my whole point, ie fake pcr negative tests, which you obviously missed.

So I've really got no need to move to Alaska, I've done my bit for myself, my family and society by taking the vaccinations. Besides I've lived in Phuket for the last 16/17 years, my daughter goes to school here and she's very happy to be back after it opened again with all teachers vaxxed, parents vaxxed and most of the students who were eligible also vaxxed.

Its a pity the anti vaxxers have so few arguments left that they resort to claiming everyone else is living in fear, when in fact everyone else has done their bit for themselves and society. Some with hesitation and genuine concern and some more than willingly. But all have contributed to helping to end the pandemic while the anti vaxxers sit by doing nothing and the hospitals in some countries clogged up with them suffering from severe disease and dying as a result of their decision.

Thankfully because of the high vaccination rates countries are now beginning to open up, without vaccinations I wonder where the world would be now.

Looks like being unvaccinated could also have an impact on life insurance:

Life insurance companies have the freedom to charge different premiums based on risk factors that predict mortality. Purchasing a life insurance policy often entails a health status check or medical exam, and asking for vaccination status is not banned.

She's a low level military doctor nurse. The risk she quotes is well known and very minimal, especially compared to the risk from covid itself. Airliners have two pilots for this sort of thing

just shows how the <deleted> beats the truth, and how most of the people do not read all that is written, or if they do they not understand, and of course some of the truth was being hidden by media and others, but it starting to come out now, and we have a lot of people who do not want to lose face so they clinging to the lies

Myocarditis: COVID-19 is a much bigger risk to the heart than vaccination

Myocarditis following COVID-19 vaccination is rare and the risk is much smaller than the risks of cardiac injury linked to COVID-19 itself.

Based on a study out of Israel, the risk of post-vaccine myocarditis is 2.13 cases per 100,000 vaccinated, which is within the range usually seen in the general population. This study is consistent with others in the United States and Israel which put the overall incidence of post-vaccine myocarditis between 0.3 and five cases per 100,000 people.

and some more truth the Thai government is not buying some vaccines, it is being brought and sold by private people I have to wait another month to be vaccinated the hospital is booked out the cost vaccine 1,400 baht hospital 240 baht worst part will be the taxi cost

Works for me. I don’t want to be sharing space with crazy vaxxers and their germ fetish.

They should put all Thai bashers and moaners who dont like Songkran and bars and party and this and that in elderly homes and leave all normal people to carry on with their life.

The Oxford study from the link in the article. Mmmm

We estimated an extra two (95% confidence interval (CI) 0, 3), one (95% CI 0, 2) and six (95% CI 2,  myocarditis events per 1 million people vaccinated with ChAdOx1, BNT162b2 and mRNA-1273, respectively, in the 28 days following a first dose and an extra ten (95% CI 7, 11) myocarditis events per 1 million vaccinated in the 28 days after a second dose of mRNA-1273.

This compares with an extra 40 (95% CI 38, 41) myocarditis events per 1 million patients in the 28 days following a SARS-CoV-2 positive test.

Most aircraft cabin air is "carefully controlled" and completely changed 20 to 30 times per hour with recirculation systems that blend some fresh air with up to 50 percent recycled of cabin air that pass through HEPA filters on “most modern aircraft,” according to the World Health Organisation.

The B-787 for example has 2 air-conditioning packs and 4 cabin zones for temperature and airflow control. Cockpit and 3 cabin zones. Air is not circulated forward/aft or vice versa. It is circulated from the cabin ceiling and exits at the cabin floor in a circular motion, and returns to the aircon packs for recirculation and mixing with fresh outside air as indicated in point 1.

I agree. Unjabbed people should be placed in first class to protect them from being infected by those who have been queuing for their jabs but can still spread the virus.

I think people who pay for premium should have dedicated air systems up front that ensure no air from the hoi-polio at the back reaches them.. who cares what happens to them back there... oiks.!

PS. Not serious US guys!

Regarding the extremely rare myocarditis issue with vaccines, others have already addressed your comment above, including that the risks of COVID are greater than those side effect risks from the vaccine.

And now there's evidence that even the original vaccine risk claims, after further investigation, actually have been overblown:

Feb 04, 2022

"Today during a meeting of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC's) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP)...

The meeting included new discussion of myocarditis risks in recipients of mRNA vaccines. The CDC's Tom Shimabukuro, MD, MPH, shared that there have been 13 deaths following mRNA vaccination from myocarditis in the United States, but upon investigation, none have been deemed to be caused by vaccination.

Most myocarditis cases following mRNA vaccine were fully resolved within 90 days of diagnosis, with patients saying the condition had no impact on their quality of life, and most cases were classified as mild according to clinicians."

https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-perspective/2022/02/acip-fully-recommends-spikevax-cdc-expands-wastewater-surveillance

Just because something A happens after you've done something B, doesn't mean that B was the automatically cause of it.  And in these cases, they determined it wasn't.

Many people's IQ is falling dangerously and this is just one example

Not sure why the unvaccinated would be upset, they think there is no difference being unvaccinated, so they should have no issue sitting together.

All of a sudden they too don’t want to sit with the unvaccinated haha irony!

stick us in first class  and we can pay the normal price everybody's happy!
