There are never any provocative questions. Everybody is carefully selected and all questions are vetted beforehand, so as not to inconvenience Putin. It’s all for show.

Deflecting when replying directly to your post, ok, I guess that comment was too taxing for you.

Next time you'd prefer a comment to something specific then supply a link to it as an example.

"Carefully selected questions vetted beforehand"? That you might have seen somewhere else. But surely not from a famous longtime BBC journo in Moscow.

And publicised by BBC footage (a bit redacted, few more full versions can be found).

Interesting the first shot and the last one, where Putin apologize to the journalist.

Generators are as important as armour in helping Ukraine survive Vladimir Putin’s energy terror this winter, Volodymyr Zelenskiy has told an emergency conference in Paris convened to coordinate infrastructure and humanitarian aid to the country over the next four months.

The Ukrainian president said the country needed an additional €800m to survive the winter and €1.5bn to restore the long-term damage to the energy grid.

you damn right, repeating the same BS over and over without any supporting evidence of any gain of any sort while some time ago he wanted  "denazify" Ukraine in 3-4 days and not so long ago trying the annexation of some Ukraine territory, all to NO sucess.... what could a loser, as he is,  say at any event

What Did Putin Mean by 'Denazification' of Ukraine and Why is It so Important?

a bit of research about the crimes mentioned in the pro-Ruzzia spun Sputnik piece will shine a very different light on many of these stories.

the rest are episodes of an independence war that could be compared with a ten times longer list of crimes and more serious crimes against the state committed by the Ruzzians.

Putin’s Neighbor Sends Troops Toward Ukraine Border in Menacing ‘Drill’

Russian ally Belarus announced snap military drills Tuesday in a move that has raised concerns that Minsk could be planning to join the war on Ukraine.

The Belarusian mission, designed to check the military’s combat readiness, is based on an analysis of Russia’s experience waging war in Ukraine, according to Belta.

The large-scale drills are unusual because they are “unexpected” for the military, said Aleksandr Volfovich, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, according to Belta.

A deserter from the notorious 64th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade - the one responsible for the Bucha massacre, under the command of Azatbek Omurbekov, better known as the Butcher of Bucha, speaks to CNN.  Hopefully people like this will testify in the war crimes tribunals when this is finally over.

Ukraine war: Deadly attack leaves retaken Kherson with no power

Two people have been killed, say Ukrainian officials, in a second day of Russian attacks on central Kherson, recaptured by Ukraine last month.

Heavy shelling on critical infrastructure in the port area left the entire city without power, according to the regional governor.

The retreat of Russian forces from Kherson was one of Moscow's biggest setbacks since the February invasion.
