A CCTV video posted to the site on Facebook that translates as "So You Wanna Be Famous, Return Part 3" showed the dramatic moment when three Pitbull terriers invaded a house in Kanchanaburi.

The owner's child had been playing with a cat.

The child fled for safety to an inside room narrowly avoiding becoming a victim of the savage animals, posted the father in a report picked up by Daily News.

The beasts then turned their attention to the family's pet cat that was ripped to shreds.

The father said that a monk at the nearby temple kept four Pitbulls that had got loose and were in an area behind his house before the attack.

He said he dreaded to think what might have happened to his child had the dogs been able to get to the child rather than be distracted by the cat.

He called on the authorities to act.

Where's that posted?

Had to check with the boss.....it was on the TV early this am.....I've seen it again since and it was edited. They still show the kid lifting the cat down and plonking it on the floor, but then took out the part we he opens the glass doors.

Euthanize the dogs and the kid ????

Would you euthanize a cat for torturing a bird for a couple of hours before leaving it twitching to it's slow death? It's instinct - my Thai mutts kill rats, chickens, snakes, squirrels all the time. Anything that moves in fact. They actually quite liked our cat but the feeling wasn't mutual so it decided to go live with the neighbours. That's cat loyalty for you ????.

As for the kid, kids that age don't really assess risk well or consider the consequences of their actions. I'm sure the trauma of seeing the cat's demise will have taught him a valuable lesson.

Great time to have a shotgun handy. They are especially effective on out of control pitbulls and rottweilers.
