Popular Post sqwakvfr Posted March 24, 2022 Popular Post Posted March 24, 2022 I have walked by the Kiwi Smash Burger located at 14 Nimman Soi 9 many times and never thought about going in. I rarely see anyone eating inside. Today I decided what the heck I'll give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The hamburgers are all named after major world cities. I tried the Los Angeles Cheeseburger and it was really good. The meat was high quality and best of all the burger bun was soft and spongy. The only other place that had burger buns like this was at In N Out burgers in the USA. Overall it was the best burger I have had in Chiang Mai(others will disagree). The downside was the cost. It was 349 Baht for the burger, fires(these were good as well) and a Coke. If you are like me and need a cheeseburger once in a while and don't the mind price then this give this place a try. 6 3

Popular Post ThailandRyan Posted March 24, 2022 Popular Post Posted March 24, 2022 Basically $10.40 USD for a Burger, Fries and a coke, not very cheap in actuality. A Burger, Fries and Coke here in BKK at Big Boys, a Classic Big Boy set is only 229 Baht. 4 1
Popular Post USEpat Posted March 24, 2022 Popular Post Posted March 24, 2022 Those fires are expensive. Then you've got to put the damned things out too! 5

fredwiggy Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Best burgers in Sisaket are at Leo's and Hong Kong garden. Both very good, and coming from Texas, that says something. 1

I notice lots of restaurants that serve western food have $8 to $12 ranges. I wonder if they price themselves out of business? 3
Popular Post dingdongrb Posted March 24, 2022 Popular Post Posted March 24, 2022 Appears to be a lot of 'Cheap Charlies' living on measly savings if you can't afford a quality burger once in a while. To add, I had 169 THB dessert at Swensen's yesterday but I bet most of you prefer that 12 THB cone from DQ or KFC. 5 1 6

I don't think it's money keeping folks from paying 350 thb for a burger, sort of the principle of it. What I don't like about most burgers here are the buns, too large. The folks making the burger have no clue what makes a good burger. 3 2

The best burger in CM is the one I grill at home using imported Aus or NZ beef. 2

Paying any more than $6 US for a burger here is ridiculous. In Texas, where meat is first class, you can get a great cheeseburger for $5-$9, with fries. Here, its price gouging because some farangs will be dense enough to shell out the bucks. I've had burgers in various states in America, and the prices are the same. Some will pay $100 for a steak dinner, but that's also ridiculous as you can get a great steak dinner anywhere for under $20 1 1 1
