Seems strange that she didn't know the dogs could behave in a violent way and take precautions.

Dogs who attack human will do it again. They should all be put down. In any civilised country humans count over dogs. Yes, the owner should be hold responsible, but the dogs will still be a danger to humans and should therefor be put down!

Sadly, these type of stories are a regular feature.  Literally weekly, maybe bi-weekly.

Anyone know - will the dogs be put down (as they should be) or not?

As we are all aware dogs especially here in Thailand are a menace including strays

Having been bitten myself 3 times when I was out cycling ????

The laws need to be tightened up bigger fines or the dogs put down

If owners found at fault

Any dog that viciously attacks a human should be put down immediately. And the owner should be charged with negligent manslaughter, sentenced to at least 10 years in prison, and be forced to surrender title to his home.

Harsh? Yes. But so is death by a dumb, vicious and untrained pet. It is known as a deterrent. Word would get around quickly.

The dog was frightened "before" it attacked her (how did her colleague know that?), said her colleague, I wonder why they didn't attack her. '' she may have fell on the dogs while feeding them'' lot of holes in the story but that could be bad translation. ????

Compared to dogs, how many Thais are killed on the roads yearly? Should they stop allowing Thais to drive?

It's not the dogs but the owners that are at fault.

It wasn't the owner who attacked her. Though he should be held responsible for not containing the dogs.

The dogs in the picture show the dogs were well contained. They also have collars on and a lead on top of the fence. Not the dogs fault if the woman entered the area that they were expected to protect.

Why didn't the dogs attack the woman that found her body? Read the full article.

 From the article.

Quote

“The Two Thai dogs are about one-year-old and belong to her brother. Normally. the dogs were not fierce. Ms. Sarinrat had sustained Myasthenia Gravis (muscle weakness) but she can walk. She might have fallen onto one of the dogs while she was feeding it in the cage. The dog was frightened before attacking her.”

Would be a lot safer on the roads but I dont think even the current Govt could swing that one... oh well
