A secretive analysis of the invasion says Russian President Vladimir Putin believes losses of 30,350 troops so far are a “price worth paying” for a small victory in Ukraine

Russian troops were battling into a major Donbas city today as a confidential UK report revealed the Kremlin’s army could collapse amid massive losses.

A secretive analysis of the invasion says Russian President Vladimir Putin believes losses of 30,350 troops so far are a “price worth paying” for a small victory in Ukraine.

But the new report - seen by senior UK government officials and written by a top UK analyst on Russia warns Putin’s blood sacrifice may be a step too far for his troops.

Today Moscow’s troops entered the city of Sievierodonetsk sparking fierce fighting in the ruins of the latest concentration of Russian violence against its neighbour.

Hopefully Putin will die of Cancer soon - rather than what we all want for him - to be hung for war crimes

Is this Putin saying this or his double? Both should be taken out to be sure!

There are other media sites reporting the same thing. So, if the report is mere propaganda, then it ultimately comes from the UK government, not the media.

Next thing you know, there will be lunatic propagandistic claims from some government or other that Ukraine is governed by Nazis...oh wait a minute...

Propaganda? Possibly.

It is one person's opinion (an expert, no less..) and does have a lovely 'could' so it cannot be described as untrue. Yes, it could collapse but then again, it could turn itself into a theatre troupe and promote Chechov.

Its reporting during a war. Often nonsense but repeated frequently (per Mein Kampf, the Big Lie), it morphs into 'the truth' e.g. Hitler's solitary ball, Napoleon being very short etc.

The first casualty of war....

As you'll note, I didn't claim the report was propaganda. Just that the comment disparaging  the story based in its appearance in the Mirror was irrelevant since the story was widely reported.

Sure. No problem.

Its all part of the usual war of words during a war. Been going on for centuries....

I hope he does not die of cancer because no doubt he will be helped with medication and surely there must be a lot more painful, untreatable and lingering death than that for this guy.

The Mirror and Guardian are a bastion of truth amongst the lies promulgated by the rest of the tory press owned by right wing fascist barons.

Thank you Vlad, glad you've got that off your chest.

That figure of losses is a complete fake number, by the way. You can only come across it in western ministry of truth outlets. In the same articles where invincible Ukrainian cyborgs are winning. The reality is much different. But it appears virtual reality is more important until it isn’t.

What are the real numbers, and what is your reliable source?

Can you please share with us the actual number of losses, along with the source you obtained it from?

I guess I've been surprised. I bought into the notion that every Russian soldier is Ivan Drago and their weapons are the Wunderwaffe of the 21st century. Turns out that Russian soldiers are undisciplined plunderers and pirates ready to surrender when faced with even odds and their weapons are junk. So, could they collapse? They sure did on the highway to Kiev.

And I assume you only watch RT for your unbiased news!

Yes it is more likely that Putin will die of cancer or natural causes, than for someone to

use a 25 or 50 caliber rifle to shorten his life. I doubt that there are any rich Russians who

would see if some orphan person would like to become rich. Well one can only hope, right?

BBC have contributed to that for many years among other western media with smaller pieces of news and also documentaries, so it have been a walk in the park for Putin to convince the russians it is true.

This "special operation" sure has a shown the world what a pile of trash the Russian army is, so Russia already got a lot more than they bargained for, as that insight is priceless.
