Oh dear, just like Boris's gang, deny the facts countless times and believe your own fairy tales as true. Did you not understand the definition of "criminal" from the dictionary I posted earlier ?  But hey this post has shifted so much from the original of Boris being booed, sadly at such an action, when there are more appropriate times the public could show there dissatisfaction at this criminal I shall not add to the deflection any longer.

It's not me who you are disagreeing with, it's the lawmakers. They have clearly stated that issuing FPN is not the same as a Criminal Conviction and is not recorded on a criminal records data base. I was merely pointing out the fact.

Acceptance of a FPN is not the same as receiving a criminal conviction in Court and as such, Boris and the others will not have these matters appear on their criminal record.

 

 

Getting a FPN doesn't make Johnson a hardened criminal, that is for sure.  But it was a criminal act and that is why the fine was issued.  It also, more importantly, rubber stamped the fact that he lied to parliament, on several occasions, for which he has given several grovelling apologies.  So who would trust the habitual liar about anything.  As people have said before, his history of lying is legendary, even including, to the Queen.

 

The fact that Johnson remains as PM shows the depth of the sewer that politics in Britain has become.  The Tories have a massive majority and many of the new MPs can thank Boris and to some extent Corbyn for that, gaining seats that were traditionally Labour.  It will be interesting to see how many of them will be one term MPs.

I think every political party have had some members who have breached the rules in some form. I would also wager if scrutinised, most of us on here if we are being honest would have breached the rules at some time. However, they are the ones who made the rules so they should have been extra vigilant. They are all as bad as each other IMO.

 

With regards the lockdown. I think ALMOST every country adhered to doing the same. Don't forget, the Labour party where condemning Boris for not locking down soon enough
