Kyle Rittenhouse on Monday posted a video of himself firing off what appeared to be an automatic firearm while declaring to President Joe Biden that he couldn't take away Americans' guns.

 

Rittenhouse posted the video to Twitter along with the caption, "Come and take 'em, Joe." The video appeared to show Rittenhouse firing off a slew of bullets from an automatic weapon while at a shooting range.

 

After stepping back from the gun and being patted on the back, Rittenhouse gives a thumbs up and declares: "Joe Biden, you're not coming for our guns." 

 

Rittenhouse fatally shot two men and injured a third amid protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in August 2020. He was acquitted in November of five charges, including first-degree homicide.

The community college Rittenhouse is attending, Blinn College, is not part of the Texas A&M system. While it's true that a majority of its graduates do end up attending Texas A&, There is no guarantee that Texas A&M will accept him. And it takes 2 years to graduate from Blinn, not one.

No, he lied. He was absolutely not headed for Texas A&M next year. Nor the year after that.  It takes 2 years to graduate from Blinn College. He should have said he's going to Blinn college. He could have added that he hoped to attend Texas A&M after he graduates. But that's a hope, not a fact.

Yes, he needs to be very clear when he speaks , he needs to realise that some people will analyse his every word, look for some discrepancies and then call him a liar when they find something .

Given the febrile atmosphere rather surrounding politics in the USA this fellow, and more like him, is likely to emerge on the streets with his gun in November and the following months.
