Pharmacy in Pattaya with wide range of Farang medications

Featured Replies

I am looking for a pharmacy in Pattaya that stocks  Effient (Prasugrel). I have checked a lot of hole in the wall shops, none have it. I know it’s available in Thailand, because I bought some in Phuket. Once.

My question is really where is there a large pharmacy in Pattaya with a lot of medications in stock, since many people need uncommon medications.

If I don’t have any luck, I will go to Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, they may have it, but it’s very far to go on the off chance they have it.

If that doesn’t work, I will have to go to Bangkok, but that is another topic.

Try the chemist or shop in front of the Bangkok Pattaya hospital.

As @scubascuba3 said I think it's called Fascino.

If you don't want to go there, you could go to a motorbike taxi place and give the guy you medicine name. Give him the cost of the medicine, B250 for his trouble and a promise of B250 when he returns. Wait for his return.

I'm not looking for low prices, I am looking for an uncommon medication.

Fascino is the biggest player, their flagship store is on North Pattaya Road

If going there too onerous give them a call +66 33 046 118

It is available in Thailand however the Thai Food and Drug Administration has listed Prasugrel as a dangerous drug, so maybe you would need a doctor's prescription to get it.

If Fascino don't have it (give them a call) then going to a hospital to obtain a prescription to get it (from the hospital) may be the only way.

Can always visit a Thai doc, tell him what you're taking and ask for a script of a similar drug (Coumadin).

I believe there it will have to be prescribed and you will be charged to see a doctor.....not really a pharmacy shop, Try the Fascino out front, or the larger one on Nua https://goo.gl/maps/4uH3jZvvzjsZuMBx6

op check medisafe via messenger

the times i have checked Fascino were far from the cheapest, recently i needed to find some Ramipril 5mg,  at a local pharmacy near to me they were 650thb for 30 tablets, on a trip down south i forgot my medicine and called into a pharmacy in Hua Hin 500thb for 30, i checked with fascino 750thb for 30, i was looking for a generic brand, all of the above pharmacies only had non generic brand, i contacted medsafe on messenger, generic version 585 for 100, delivered 2 days later for 40thb

I think you mean medisafe pharmacy, they do delivery to Pattaya monthly, maybe more frequent now and yes may well be cheapest

Yes Medisafe deliver to Pattaya now twice monthly, I use them myself and have found that they are usually cheaper than all the Pharmacy's here in Pattaya.

If you live South of Pattaya Thai (South Pattaya Rd) then the Facino located on that road across the street from Wat Chai Mongcron is the easiest to get to.

Google map "facino pattaya" to see all the locations.

Their prices may or may not be lower than elsewhere.  You can get a membership card from Facino that will give you a small discount on listed prices.

Don't have to go that far,  there is a Fascino,  Boots, on Pattaya Klang and Soi Buakhao across from Leegee Restaurant.

If they don't have it they can obtain from main store on Pattaya Nua. Give the pharmacy at Foodland a try on Pattaya Klang up from Big C extra.

There is a pharmacy on Soi Buakhao down near Klang on the right name called Beauty? I use to obtain some steroids for a guy there try them?

If prescription is needed  Bangkok Pattaya if too far,  can obtain at Pattaya Memorial on Second road or International Hospital on Soi 4.

It depends on what drugs you're on.

He wants a pharmacy that carries Farang medication which most likely be not generic?   If it carriers what he needs and it is cheap then you are on track but Pattaya City seems to be dispensing more generics reason cheap?

I always go to the larger Pharmacy on Pattaya Tai not far from 2nd road across from the temple. The sign is in Thai, but I think it is Fascino good selection of medications or they will order it if not have.

Please remember that I am not looking for the cheapest medication, I am looking for a pharmacy that stocks medications that are not common.

I went to Fascino on Theppasit Road, a nice lady told me they just sold their last box of Effient, but would order more. She wrote down my contact info and told me the new order would arrive by now. I am still waiting.

In other words, she didn’t want to say no have and cannot get.

You travel to many countries extensively but visited 1Pattaya pharmacy. Bit odd!

Go to their big store.

Just after City Hall on Pattaya Nua, North Pattaya Rd

Or

Pattaya Tai, opposite the Temple

Despite what some think, not all medicines can be obtained from pharmacies, even Fascino, that stocks the most.

I've had this problem here and the essential medicine I need is only available via hospitals and even then it is hard and ridiculously expensive (despite my specialist in Australia prescribing it there and getting it from any pharmacy there when in Oz at reasonable price).

Online services may be an option.

You 'may' be lucky if a pharmacy is able to obtain something off the 'grey' market for you.

Otherwise you will need to head to a hospital, pay to see a doctor and pay for the script at a hospital medicine dispensary.

They have another store on Soo So Country Club opposite the markets as well as one behind Num Chai on Sukumvit.
