I deletions are a highly positive change.

If you want to make a negative comment about a post, just bloody reply to it!

The complaints here are disingenuous. We all know the vast majority of sad and laugh ones were used negatively.

Get over it my droogs.

If only I could reply to your post using the confused emoji....

when posting an opinion that could be considered controversial, you better back it up with solid facts from solid sources if you don't want to get laughed at.

it's the basis for any serious statement in any environment, really.

you yourself stated that you don't like people laughing at your serious statements.

but what you are doing by just stating something without backing it up, is inviting laughter.

Yes, I do find it rather difficult posting a link to my personal opinion .

I have tried plugging a wire from my computer  into my ear and uploading a link to my thoughts, but it didn't work .

Yes, most certainly, and yours is but just one more of those said "outrageous and far-fetched" posts.

Comments on moderation have been removed.

As everyone reading this knows, if you have a post that has been removed and you wish to raise the issue then the correct way to go about it is to either PM the moderator or email support. Posting in public about getting cancelled or being on the wrong side of a moderator is not the correct way forward.

Whining about "missing" emoticons.

White people problem.

No need to bring race into the issue , as it effects everyone

Again, "where is that laughing emoji"?

If you're not allowed to have an opinion then how come you can write that?

In one sentence you say, "we're no long allowed to have an opinion", and in the very next sentence you say, "that's just my opinion".

Yeah and just like the typical liberal it went WAY over your head didn't it? Why is it that liberals have ZERO sense of humor?

You must be bored to death

post links to back up facts and then articulate thoughts based on them.

if that's too much to ask, then laughs are to be expected.

It means it's a trivial "problem" which it is.

Hate it.

If you like this, then you really hate it.  So you don't really like it, you hate it.

Crazy situation.

Someone dies and we cannot post a sad emoji.

No way can we post a like or thanks!

I have stopped using them.

There is no point in only being able to like things - waste of time now.

Update: We can now also post a "thumbs up" or a "love it" emojii - you could not make this stuff up!

These are anonymous discussion forums where opinions can be given  .

Its not a work related task or test  or an exam at School , its a post on an anonymous forum which doesn't matter too much .

We are not part of a World Government here on ASEANNOW where our opinions are influential and has an major effect on the World

Its much better when people reply with words,

which takes unnecessary time and effort which a single click does not.

These days we are seeing less and less quality posts and a lot more news articles from other sources thrown into the forum.

Sometimes when you change things, it just keeps getting worse.

Could possibly be a small team having to cover all the other Asean countries does not have the time just to concentrate on Thailand?

I am sure 100% would agree there have been some outrageous and far-fetched posts written on this forum.

There should be a way to call disatisfaction to those type of posts.

What is troubling, it is either newbie visa questions or other news articles already read at the the source.

Haven't read a good post or a real barn burner between members for quite some time

Yes, and whoa to those who would quote a news source other than CNN, MSNBC or Politico, eh?

Why talk when you can just pull facial expressions ?

Most Gen-xers understand this concept, why can't you?

You could write "What you you mean by that " ?

Then I would explain what I meant

Anybody have any definition as to what the difference is between the "thumbs up" and "like" means, are they not the same?

Okay....what do you mean by that?

Quite often in threads about a Thai committing a serious crime  , people will hilariously write "That will be a 500 Baht fine and a Wai" and the   someone will also write "If they can catch him, why cant they catch the Red Bull Heir" .

So, they may have emojis to state the above, instead of people keep having to write it
