According to a post on the Department of Public Relations official Facebook page, informants who are able to provide evidence such as videos or photographs could be eligible to receive a 50 percent cut of the 10,000 baht fine.

Wouldn't want to be the person who ratted out people in the village. Life might get a lot tougher.

One of the advantages living in a 10+ million metropolis.. ????????

So what happens when the police do it? Stupid question, I know.

Obstructions to parking are quite common at Big C; however, as it is private property the owners make the rules.

I always choose the healthy option.

Find somewhere else to park.

What's your choice if it's clear when you park and then find cones or chairs in front of and behind your car when you come back.

Abandon your vehicle and get a taxi home?

Who ever doing it knows very well that this is wrong, they wouldn't be doing that unless they have some clout and a say in that area, try to move and you'll cope a verbal abuse or worse...

Parked my pick up and came back to find a traffic cone at the front and rear ( in line with the wheels) Reversed and flattened one then drove forward and flattened the other. Did check there was nothing inside them first.

Next time you might find all four tyres flat and the car keyed, what's your next step of retaliation?

I, of course, am for this and hope it's enforced a little more thoroughly. Also, I'd like to see better arrangements made for parking motorbikes so one or two don't take up a car-sized parking space.
