What kind of mic is that?

Too long.

Too thin.

Cardioid microphone. Popular high end mic in the early 80's in the studio and live recordings.  Do your research instead of asking basic questions with subsequent stupid comments.

You are correct.

But, on the other hand,

While listening,

I had wondered if she might swallow it.

(Please don't be angry.)

And, you are correct, again.

Why should anyone even think these thoughts?

Great music.

And...Shame on me.

Sorry, sincerely.

(OK. Sincerely.  It is SAD, sad, sad, that in these days, since 1977, we should even be compelled to think these weird thoughts?  Back in my days, we never did think these thoughts.  No Joke!)

Yes, but, be wary of "subsequent stupid comments" concerning long and slim cardioid microphones.

What is meant by the phrase, "eat one's mic"?

This song was my husband’s favorite…he lived by the words, during his dying days. He didn’t want to close his eyes, and kissed me every moment of his life. He held my hand, and told me he loved me, endlessly. He loved me til his last breath. This song makes me long for him. ❤

Christ sake, it is alot to digest living and growing up in this world or planet we are surfing the galaxy in.

Have you ever read, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe"?

If you have, then this might be your problem.

Don't look outward to the galaxies for answers.

The answers lie within.

Consciousness is just a figment of your electrochemical imagination.

You got no soul, other than those you buy.

I love the smell of leather.

It seems strange to me that I would be willing to pay USD750.00 for a decent pair of shoes.

But not so strange, in fact.

What is the highest price you have paid for shoes?

Normal shoes?

The most expensive alpine climbing shoes in today's value might be close to 500usd

No, because it's actually " The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."

About 40 years ago, I paid USD 250 for a pair of Florsheim shoes in Dallas, Texas. Adjusted for inflation, they would be about USD 820 today.

The salesman said they would last me a lifetime, and he was right. They are still with me, in very good condition.

Sadly, the bean counters had ruined the brand about ten years later via cost-cutting on materials and outsourcing. A microcosm of what happened to American manufacturing.

I get the feeling I am crazy when I respond on most ASEAN threads. I comfort myself with the thought I am not alone.

The last 3 years I have used black shoes 2 times. Christmas 2019 and when I got married lately. Sneakers, riding boots, mountain boots and flip flops is the standard. My black shoes is 10 years old now, and not necessery to mention, they will last a lifetime for sure

There will always be vulgar rich people who do not comprehend what they flaunt is obscene. They confuse the trappings of wealth with class.

Lady Docker's gold-plated Daimler and the shoes of Imelda Marcos spring to mind.

It's a thing of beauty, for sure.

But, what I really want to see is the outsole.

The outsole, to me is what I love best about shoes.

Because, when you rest your feet up on your bosses desk, to say, F U, then this is what your boss will remember most.

Perfect color.

Are these from Spain?

Spanish shoes are not bad.

I once purchased some Florsheim's in the US, at Sears.

But, they were imported from Spain.

Love the color, honestly speaking.

OK.

Then what might you do, or what are you doing, knowing that you are among the few who realise that 95 percent of the world is sane, and that you are among the 5 percent who are crazy?

This ain't no jive, MFK.

If you are like me, then you know what I'm talking about.

So far, here is how I handle it.

I do like the Chinese do, and I, these days...

I lie flat.

Also, in my opinion, the vast majority of people know what I'm talking about.

Still, I don't wish to spell it out too clearly, here.

It's like... I know that I am crazy. I know that my beliefs do not jibe with yours.

60 Yeats ago, I was sane. But, now I am not, relatively speaking. I no longer buy into your optimism.

I just wish, sometimes, that I were 10 years older. Because, I feel sick at heart knowing the train wreck, up ahead.

Jimi Hendrix, FOREVER!

I've known for most of my life that I was one of the few sane ones living in a sick and insane society,

They don't seem to even try to hide how insane it is these days...

Everyone thought I was crazy.

But the UK prison psychologist gave me a letter stating I was sane!

(Before I got the official letter, I was beginning to wonder)

Anyone else have a letter certifying they are sane?
