More dangerous road crossings

The intersection of Theppraya and Thepprasit roads has this crossing, sure many of you know it , and this 'unfinished road repair  a massive hole ' is directly on a pedestrian crossing.and it's a month at least that it's been left unfinished.  Yes common place but where to report this.? I guess locals don't even bother .

What else do you expect for in a 3rd world country.

Bad roads....yes.... but problems that have been created by poor or incomplete construction (that seems to go on interminably) is what we mostly have here.

which commonly happens in 3rd world countries like Thailand.

When I lived in Stockholm, there was a big intersection like this that they dug up four times.

Once for new draining, when they were ready they dug it up for new cables.

When ready they dug it up to remake the subway station. Then it was time to make bus and bicycle lanes.

It was dug up for several years.

So true, but it is just so difficult to understand the carelessness and apathy of the Thai people.

Not really, just imagine anything logical and expect them to do the complete opposite 99% of the time.

surely, it's not the crossing that's dangerous but drivers' behavior at the crossing

No... Its the crossings fault....  If the crossing wasn’t there, someone wouldn’t be trying to cross and the driver wouldn’t have hit the person who got in their way....

.... its all rather inconsiderate for the authorities to places these crossings willy-nilly all over the city, don’t they have any consideration for motorists ????? :whistling:
