Popular Post CanadaSam Posted January 31, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 31, 2023 The wife seems to spend a LOT of her time watching these so-called "social influencers" EATING like pigs on TV. I normally would not mind, if not for the fact that they chew with their mouths WIDE open, and make the most disgusting (loud) sounds, which would make a pig proud! Looking for a two bedroom place, so I can live in peace without listening to disgusting eating sounds all day and night!!! Only in Thailand, yes? 2 2 9

Popular Post NanLaew Posted January 31, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 31, 2023 It's a fact of life and a rite of passage that the western male owns the TV remote control, so how did you let this happen? 3 1 1 8
Popular Post Ohyesuare Posted January 31, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 31, 2023 She got tired of watching you do it so she switched to watching it on TV for some variety. 1 6
OneMoreFarang Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 I have to admit my Thai gf also watches those videos on her tablet. There was a time when she watched how people prepare food. Ok, fine. And then maybe videos where people prepare food and then eat it. Ok. And now sometimes videos where a girl eats 3kg of lobster or something like that. Disgusting! But she likes it for whatever reason. I told her to what those videos only when I am not somewhere near her and can hear those noises. 1 1
HappyExpat57 Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Teach her to use bluetooth headphones/ear buds. Problem solved. 2
Popular Post Aussieroaming Posted January 31, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 31, 2023 I'm sick of hearing about these "influencers". They are the same as the vloggers that travel around the world discovering places and foods that get re-discovered every week by other vloggers. Modern day backpackers with recording devices following well trodden paths as if they are the first to ever walk them 3 2
Andrew Dwyer Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 My wife too seems to find watching people eat large amounts of food with large amounts of lip smacking appealing !! She is also addicted to watching ingrown toenails being corrected in tortuous fashion . I find solace in the fact she never adopted the pimple popping or ear wax removal binge watching trend . 1

Popular Post Tropposurfer Posted February 1, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 1, 2023 It seems that with the advent and proliferation of social media apps we see many more folks a day doing all manner of things than we would never be able to see in normal moving about in the world. A long time ago, as as young man I shared houses with a folks. One of the guys in one of our rented houses came from an orphan background and was adopted. He'd had almost no social etiquette training. He chewed with his mouth wide open and made a good deal of sound and would talk like that at the table with complete lack of awareness . It was not pleasant to see the masticated food on full view. Maybe its not cared about now, but then, if you were with a woman wouldn't have a bar of you. I was taught some reasonable table manners in Aussie by middle class parents; Elbows off the table, never sit with cutlery in hands and wave them about, point them up in the air or gesture towards others with them, chew with mouth closed, never shovel food into your mouth but finish each mouthful, don't crash and clatter utensils and plates when eating amongst other things. As a child it was a lot to learn but gentle kind instructions from my parents and grandparents sees me be able to eat in any environment anywhere on the planet and manage well and do so with consideration of others and with politeness. Manners are a good thing, they remind us to hold our boundaries and to consider others not just ourselves. 1 2
save the frogs Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 have an affair behind her back. find a girl from canada who enjoys watching good TV shows like The Twilight Zone. 2
Purdey Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Seems this is more common than i thought. She-who-must-be-obeyed watches videos on her tablet of people in rural China or Nepal cooking and sitting around chewing their food. When her friends visit they crowd around the screen commenting on the cooking. I watch the news on my tablet and wear headphones or I go out. There's always a choice. 1
Skeptic7 Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 My little Tirak watches these loud mouth crunching & lip smacking slobs on YouTube. I always start making similar barnyard noises as loud as possible. She just giggles and keeps on watching. Bizarre. ???? 1
thaibeachlovers Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Not as bad as watching people simulate sex on tv or movies. Never understood the need to do so, as it's entirely possible to imply sex happens without watching the pretend version. Porn is OK as it's real.
