Picture: Thai Rath

Thai Rath caught up with a man setting up an outside movie screening in Khon Kaen after a video he took on Sunday evening caused a stir on Thai social media.

The video - that featured Pheerathep, 43, exclaiming "Arai Wa" (what the hell) - featured footage of a round, white object in the sky over the downtown area in the NE Thailand city.

Pheerathep thought it was a drone at first but it seemed too high for that before it disappeared behind clouds travelling at a very high velocity.

He thinks he saw a UFO.

What do you think?

Just an observing satellite from outer space on a drift for a few million years same as Voyagers?

After a few more centuries we should have been able to put a few more thousands out there as well to explore the universe, and who knows what they are going to find? Well most likely we will never know what these UFO's is, if we do not manage to capture one or shoot them down for trespassing our borders ????

Can’t see clearly due to PM2.5. It’s clogging whatever limited intelligence left.

Well, if we knew what they were, they wouldn't be UFO's.

We still hope to make those UFO's to become known objects one day, dont we?

complete with a map of where to find them like Voyager?

The fool forgot to zoom in.

Amazing how these advanced gigapixel smartphone cameras always create blurry photos whenever Martians do a flyby.

Who was flying high, UFO or the man ? ????

Yep, that's a UFO, I can identify them easily.

I am from planet Pattaya and we must connect with our sister city from another mother.

Pattaya spelled backwards is Ayattap, which means nothing and go to the next sentence.

We come for the ladyboys, sexpats, and land of Indian gold chains!!!!!!

Laugh as much as you want.

Yesterday and today after sundown (right now).

Two exceptionally bright stationary objects to the western sky.

Much brighter than any of the stars which are quite weak now due to light pollution.

They are no stars.

I will check again later in the evening.

If they vanished it means there IS something high up lightened by the sun that sunk behind the horizon.

That also means it is visible over a limited distance only.

I guess there will be an explanation for the phenomenon.

I saw it to, almost aligned on top of each other. Amazing, I just pulled up my stargazer app, and got the answer right away ????

Great!

Just wanted to correct myself.

Not stationary but "sinking".

The lower one is below the roof of the opposite house now.

Yesterday my wife made me aware.

Will tell her about your finding.

There is some great apps out there. Download one stargazer app and check. Wherever you point, you find the names of what you see, and also not see

If you ask me, that is definitely a UFO, and I should know, I've seen a few.

Now with the new moon.
