In October 2020 we bought via Lazada a 55" smart TV of the xxx brand. It came with a 3 year warranty. Early February this year it broke down. Only a few stripes left. We contacted xxx in Bangkok and were told that they have a contact company in Surin, about 75 km from our home. We had sent pictures of what the TV showed and they said, they wiill have to repair it in Bangkok. The contact company in Surin would come and pick it up at our home and send it for repair to Bangkok.

On February 11th the TV was picked up at our home and we were told that the TV would be sent via Kerry Express to Bangkok the following day. When we contacted xxx in Bangkok via Email we were informed by a certain Khun T. that the TV had arrived at their premises on February 16th and that he had asked his superiors to exchange our TV for a new one. That approval apparently has not been realised. We have contacted Khun T., many, many times, but he has stopped sending us any news.

We are completely flabbergasted by the behaviour of xxx Thailand. We don't know what to do. Is there anyone who could lead us in a good direction? We still have 8 months of warranty, now 7 left with more tan one month lost and the company has not repaired or exchanged our TV.

So be forwarned if you are in a similar situation.

7. You will not post defamatory or libelous comments. Defamation is the issuance of a statement about another person or business which causes that person or business to suffer harm or loss. A statement does not have to be false to be defamatory. Libel is when the defamatory statement is published either as a drawing, picture, painting, motion picture, film, or letters made visible by any means or by broadcasting, dissemination or propagation by any other means. Defamation is both a civil and criminal charge in Thailand and elsewhere in ASEAN.

Give us a clue as to the make of the TV, which would not be defamation

As noted, it has been edited out due to the fact it is defamation as defined by Thailand's defamation laws.
