A CNN poll shows 60% of Americans approve of Trump's indictment. I smell toast.

Marjorie TG will disagree with you. She compared Trump to Nelson Mandela ......wait for this..... and Jesus. Almost as laughable as sobbing Lindsey begging for donations.

While the Defendant was being arrested in New York, the DOJ won at appeal to compel the testimony of Mark Meadows.   The Defendant is heading into a world of hurt.

Wait. Wasn't Mandela jailed for decades? And Jesus was executed? Nice comparison.

Have you even read the indictment ?
Each count lists the crime that he is being accused of.

Do some research for a change, instead of wanting to be spoon fed.
I would suspect that even the right wing media outlets have a copy of the indictment available.

For example

"AND THE GRAND JURY AFORESAID, by this indictment, further accuses the defendant of the crime of FALSIFYING BUSINESS RECORDS IN THE FIRST DEGREE, in violation of Penal Law §175.10, committed as follows:"

“Pundits have been speculating that Trump would be charged with lying about the hush money payments to illegally affect an election, and that theory rests on controversial legal issues and could be hard to prove,” Roiphe told The Times.

“It turns out the indictment also includes a claim that Trump falsified records to commit a state tax crime. …That’s a much simpler charge that avoids the potential pitfalls.”

I would ask that you please review certain factual items before you post asking a question such as this.  DA Bragg did explain the crimes Former President Donald Trump has committed:  Below is an excerpt from a press conference which was held after the arraignment.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg says "thorough investigation" led to Trump indictment - CBS News

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg told reporters Tuesday after the arraignment of former President Donald Trump that a "thorough investigation" led to his office's decision to charge Trump with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

"This is the business capital of the world," Bragg said about New York City. "We regularly do cases involving false business statements. The bedrock of the basis for business integrity and a well-functioning business marketplace is accurate record-keeping."

For Trump supporters, knowledge is like kryptonite.

You forgot to include insurrection on your list.

So, what makes it a Felony when there is no intent to defraud?

But why is it 'infinitesimal'? By bribing Stormy D and taking care of all the other stories that were being bandied around at the time through 'catch and kill', he effectively paid his way out of any negative press at a time when it could have seen him lose the White House. This is pretty significant when you consider Hilary lost because of the server stories being touted at exactly the same time.

One could argue it was far from ' infinitesimal' when you consider what was at stake.

Actually you pretty close to the mark on this. The hush money in itself is fairly insignificant but when you couple that with the timing of his campaign and trying to hide it is the basis for many of the charges he's facing in this indictment.

You should really do more research.  It rises to the level of a felony in New York when you falsify those records to conceal the crime committed.  Which Donald Trump did by allegedly having the payments marked as other than what they were actually for.

New York law states that falsifying business records rises to a felony when an individual's “intent to defraud includes an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof.”

Just like GOP House, instead of other more important issues plaguing the country is concentrating on Fox's shopping list of grievances like Biden laptop, impeaching Fauci and Mayorkas, DOJ/FBI bias and the Afghan withdrawal you mean?

Even if you are right, felony charges have a time limit of 5 years and this happen 7 years ago. So why go after Trump now? are all you Dems. scared he will win in 2024? Or are you just full of hate?

How can the media concentrate and report on other more important issues plaguing the country when you acknowledge that half of the Govt i.e. the House is doing the opposite.

All the media doesn't make things up like Fox et alia.

But obviously you would not know that if you only watch Fake Fox News.

I guess that was a rhetorical question at the end.

The “teflon“ don has turned into the “velcro“ don. After a lifetime of weaseling out of his legal problems it looks like everything is now going to stick. This is only the beginning. The chickens are coming home to roost.

Maybe because he couldn't be prosecuted for 4 of those years and it takes time to build a case. Most of the time was involved in the witnesses making the decision to squeal once their gravy train had come to a halt. The dems are definitely not afraid of Trump running, the last elections proved that emphatically.

Wow, here you are lecturing others on producing links. I'm flabbergasted. Can I remind you of this every time you fail to do that? Oh wait, I already have, dozens of times.

So should Trump's appointees on the supreme court. I didn't notice you complaining that they didn't.
