still kicking Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 I have been married Twice, the first time for about 30 years the second time for about 20 years so what is the problem? And yes, never had any kids either. 1

I'm not talking about you specifically, still kicking. but just making a general point. marriage success is always based on numbers ... the longer it lasts it seems the more successful it is. my parents were at each other's throats until their dying day like cats and dogs. many marriages are passionless, dull ... and not to mention the marriage partner holds you back from accomplishing your dreams sometimes ... so again, not taking a jab at you, mr beer bottles. don't take it personally.

Lacessit Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 Once was enough for me, although I stuck with it for far too long.

When children are involved there needs to be contracts to secure there welfare . When there are no children I see no need for contracts . Basic civil arrangement to split up any assets that they have accumulated together . Assets made before the relationship should remain in there ownership.
MJCM Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 I have been married once (still married to her) I love her to bits, but I know that if the Marriage ends and I am going to be single and move back to Pattaya 1
LaosLover Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 I'm on #3. #1: young death. #2: became a secret heroin addict from an inheritance that she didn't tell me about. #3: still excited when I enter a room #4? Prob won't be that excited when I pop into the room. This really is the last gasps of my hey day.
billd766 Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 My first marriage lasted from 1976 until 1997 in the UK. I am on my second marriage here in Thailand and we celebrated our 23rd anniversary last Friday, plus a further 7 years before that. Our son is 18, 19 come August 1st. It works for us. We also have Thai friends in the UK, Germany and Denmark who have been married longer than us.

London Lowf Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 I've never been married and these days I won't even do a LT - I enjoy Dutch ovens but I'm far too considerate to subject anyone else to them. 1
