IF TRUMP DOES THAT...': The president's behavior created a firestorm of criticism

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

President Joe Biden’s critics called out the world leader for telling a reporter to "shush up" while he was meeting with the Australian prime minister at the latest G7 summit in Japan.

Annoyed Twitter users slammed Biden as condescending for the command, with some pointing out that if former President Donald Trump had done that to an overzealous member of the press, he wouldn’t have heard the end of it from his usual critics.

The brief but tense moment happened while Biden was speaking one on one with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese this weekend at the G7 Summit in Hiroshima, Japan.

This is the current state that any attack on the President has a lot to do with the attacks I see in postings I read at any Fox News article. Same thing everyday, different roast. Sad but you know this is the plan to go after anyone not a Trump supporter.

It just goes to show the ignorance of the reporter, trying to break into a one one one conversation.

Annoyed Twitter users.

Now that is a laugh in itself.

Haven’t heard a peep about it yet from any reputable news source yet did a quick Google search just found a bunch of trump junk perhaps it’s just a tempest in a tea pot mehhh…..

Such a nothing burger. They were having a one on one conversation, and the clown interrupted them. Biden put him in his place. Trump has done far worse, and showed no regard to reporters ever, going as far as calling them juvenile names.

What's really sad is watching a once great nation tearing itself apart from within.

I give USA 10 years max and it will be in utter shambles with China taking over #1 spot.

If that's the biggest complaint they can come up with, then we have the CORRECT guy in the office.

Bumbling Biden once again in bumbling form in front of the world bumbling along in his own little world and making no cognitive sense. Like him or loathe him at least Trump had some energy. I was no real fan of Obama, but atleast he had some go, watching Biden is like watching a toy with a defective battery

The "bumbling" has been addressed many times. He has an issue with stuttering. He has been very public about it and to pick on somebody for their handicap is as low as it can get.

Maybe Biden should have taken him out behind the shed?

That's something Trump would have told his supporters to do.

He had no qualms with others assaulting reporters for him, though with women it was proven he preferred hands on.

It has not been proven that Biden put his hands on Tara Reade.

‘Manipulative, deceitful, user’: Tara Reade left a trail of aggrieved acquaintances
A number of those who crossed paths with Biden’s accuser say they remember two things: She spoke favorably about her time working for Biden, and she left them feeling duped.

What is "bumbling" about teling someone to "shush up"?  Your comment is utterly Pavlovian.

Your comparison to each is silly. Trump has energy to lie for hours and hours and nobody gives a hoot but his brainwashed supporters. Attached is a link to his Howard University commencement to prove how off you are on a comparison basis.

I thought the words"shush up" were rather polite. Being constantly interrupted while having a conversation is in itself impolite.

No he's suffering from dementia.

Sure. A week ago he gave a 25 minute speech at Howard University. You would have to suffering from some kind of neurological impairmentto believe that someone capable of doing that has dementia.

Did he bring up CornPop? He is definitely as sharp as he’s ever been.

I’m surprised he does not take the Montreal cogitative assessment test like Trump did just to shut everyone up.

He has a speech impediment, not Alzheimer’s. .

There is no official record of Trump's test.

All you have that he took one, is his word and his doctor's.

Doctors have lied for Trump since his bone spur days to when he had COVID, where his doctor admitted he gave misinformation about Trump's infectiousness.

Ronny Jackson the doctor who took the cogitative test has a history of lying as has Trump.

Why would Biden lie about the test?

And you can bet that if Trump would have been interrupted by a reporter, that would have been the last time that reporter would have been allowed access.

How strange. The good doctor has received a sort of promotion.

It must have been good to have low friends in high places.

Jackson joined the White House Medical Unit in the mid-2000s under George W. Bush, and served as Physician to the President from 2013 to 2018 under Barack Obama and Donald Trump.[2][3] On March 28, 2018, Trump nominated Jackson to be United States secretary of veterans affairs to succeed David Shulkin.[3][4][5] On April 23, 2018, allegations of misconduct and mismanagement during his service in the White House were reported.[6][7][8] The administration disputed the allegations.[9][10] Concern was also expressed about Jackson's lack of management experience.[3][11] On April 26, 2018, Jackson withdrew his nomination as Secretary of Veterans Affairs.[10][12][13]

On February 2, 2019, Trump appointed Jackson Assistant to the President and Chief Medical Advisor, a new position in the Executive Office.[14] Jackson retired from the Navy on December 1, 2019,[15] and on December 9, he filed to run for Congress in Texas's 13th congressional district. Placing second in the Republican primary, he won a runoff for the nomination[16] and the November 3, 2020, general election.

Biden doesn’t feel threatened or frightened of reporters so he doesn’t have to resort to bullying
