You can't answer that question without knowing the source of the funds, it depends whether you can prove that you either brought the money into the country legally or earned it here and paid tax on it, or not. Need to know the source of the money, if tax has been paid etc, as to how to export it. Of course it can be done in one go from bank via wire but.. Anything over 50K usd will need explaining as to how you got the money. If it were 3-4 million I would suggest that route as it is easier no questions asked sending say 1.5 million baht out at a time. Whether the funds were acquired legally or illegally in Thailand, wouldn’t it have been wise to have this thought out before you decided to put your money in a bank here? It’s beyond my comprehension of how many post I read on the forum of unprepared, wait till the last minute and lack of foresight.
