Best way? You initiate a WIRE TRANSFER from your Thai bank like any legitimate business would or and individual who has acquired their funds legally.

It has nothing to to do with legitimacy, my query is where to get the best rates.

People have answered you. Need to know the source of the money, if tax has been paid etc, as to how to export it.

Example, if its from a condo sale then the land office will provide documentation to show the bank.

That can also be problematic, say you bought your condo for 5M but only declared 3M purchase price to land office and sold it for 10M but only declared 8M sale to land office, you can only send 3M overseas with land office documentation alone.

Of course it can be done in one go from bank via wire but..

Anything over 50K usd will need explaining as to how you got the money.  If it were 3-4 million I would suggest that route as it is easier no questions asked sending say 1.5 million baht out at a time. You just say repatriating money as reason

If your a foreigner & sending  all 20 mill out at once then

that means showing your FET slips that shows you brought it into the country

If you made it in country then you need to show source

Same if you brought in less to buy home & later sold it for more

I assume the funds are currently in TH. Whether the funds were acquired legally or illegally in Thailand, wouldn’t it have been wise to have this thought out before you decided to put your money in a bank here? It’s beyond my comprehension of how many post I read on the forum of unprepared, wait till the last minute and lack of foresight. I mean really, who would not have a well thought out plan for such a large sum of funds, I can only deduce…

Thai High Street bank I have always used.

Your have to transfer the amount in max amounts allowed I would say.
