Popular Post webfact
Police Colonel Surachet Hakpal, Deputy National Police Chief, one of the four candidates, presented his vision for the 14th Police Commander position. He highlighted his achievements in addressing critical issues, namely the 'Loan Shark' and 'Call Center Gang' cases, reported Siam Rath. Surachet stated that his morning was spent writing a comprehensive four-page vision paper as instructed by Deputy National Police Chief General Damrongsak Kittiprapas. Emphasizing the police force's commitment to public service, Suchart emphasized that ensuring public safety remained paramount. He recognized the challenges posed by cases that had generated public concern, particularly those involving loan shark activities and call center scams. He stressed the importance of effectively addressing these issues to instill trust and security in the community. Surachet highlighted that these pressing matters required swift attention and a multi-pronged approach by the National Police Bureau. This includes thorough investigations, preventive measures, apprehension of wrongdoers, and recovering misappropriated assets. He underlined that restoring justice to the public and countering such illicit activities were integral to maintaining societal harmony and safety. Popular Post retarius
How about investigating crimes, being fair, not taking bribes, not sitting all day in the station drinking tea or whatever? How about policing the roads properly in cars and looking for speeding, dangerous driving, DUI, and moving violations? How about stopping police from dealing drugs and forcing users to sell for them? How about sticking corrupt cops in jail? 14 3 7 12

Popular Post spidermike007
I was hoping if there were any positives to take away from this election fiasco, it would be the disappearance of big joke, it would be his final bow, and his disappearance into oblivion. But I guess some things are too good to be true, and I guess some people just never go away. The limelight and his slice of fame simply means too much to him. 4 5

He did good in Chiang Mai one visit and he dropped the hammer on the immigration office. They cleaned up and started doing customer service after his visit they were open from 7am till they had taken care of everyone who showed up. A complete turn around thanks to big Joke 6 6

The story says 'Colonel' Sura..... He's been refered to as 'General' Sura.... many times before. There's several Police Generals waiting for their turn in the top seat before they retire. I rather doubt they would promote a Colonel ahead of one of the generals. But TIT. Edited September 2, 2023 by scorecard 2

This happens all the time in translations of news stories about him - they mix up "phon aek" (four-star General) with "phan aek" (Colonel).

Thanks, I'm aware of this in another example. When I applied for PR I had an interview with the 'Porkong'. I assumed this was a specific rank, but it turned out to mean 'very senior officer' (no specific rank).

Exactly! I cant understand the "he's earned my respect" posters - He didnt rise up through the ranks by doing a great job solving local crimes, he paid his way up, he's in the club, the people around him sponsored the franchisee to ensure they had a foot in the door. Here you go Surachet, here is your rather bulging envelope for the month, here's one for you buddy Prawit too. BJ says, that's OK, you can donate mine to starving elephant charities in Chiang Mai, Prawit says he doesn't want his either this month. I can see it now, just as I see a blue flying pig outside my window 2 2

Ah, I was waiting for your hate of Surachat to pop up ! Makes me wonder what he’s done so wrong, except that you don’t like him being what you call a « poster boy » IMO he’s straight enough, does his job and there hasn’t been a single better police man in Thailand so far . Enough for me, if most of Thailands police force had his integrity, then it would be a much safer place. 1
