Wrong. What people are angry about is that the one chance voters had to see a complete overhaul of the system that would have brought the country into the 21st century was scrapped. Just so one man could use his political party to betray his voters and stab coalition partner's in the back. All for his own selfish benefit.

It was likely an ingrown toenail. This appears to have all been staged, and planned well in advance, as part of the ultra toxic deal PT made with the army goombahs. The whole thing reeks of insincerity. And the PT, Thaksin, and Paetongtarn are now completely devoid of any credibility they may have once had. Expect him to be released within months.

Taksin haters somehow seem to overlook the coup crew that illegally overthrew the government rolling tanks into the streets....as far as I know not ONE of the coup crew has been or ever will be prosecuted for this.  Taksin was no saint but at least he did not overthrow the will of the voters.  Nor did Taksin rewrite the rules and appoint 250 unelected senators to allow him to hold power regardless of elections and voters will.

Sadly it will fail, as all the doctors and surgeons on ANN/TVF are self taught and can diagnose patients with a few clicks on their keyboard, without the need to even see the patient or even know the patient's history. 

 

Yhr problem is that as you grow older your medical problems increase. There are few people in their 70's and older who are perfectly fit.

So you are claiming that Thaksin set up the election on his own, made sure that the MFP would win, and then lose, that he arranged for ALL the generals to throw the election badly, that he convinced ALL the political parties, even those that hate him far more than any farang could, arranged for the only person who could could commute his prison sentence and grant him a pardon, just so that he could return and run Thailand?

 

I don't believe he has that much money or power, not when the politicians' in Thailand and the police/military can make sure that he has an "accident" at any time since 2006.
