JUSTICE MINISTER Thawee Sodsong today (Sep. 21) said he agreed with the medical team that de facto Pheu Thai boss Thaksin Shinawatra should continue staying at Police Hospital as he has just undergone a surgery, TV Channel said.

However Thawee, a Prachachat Party MP, refused to comment on Thaksin still remaining at this hospital even though a month is up tomorrow from when he returned to Thailand on Aug. 22.

That same night he was rushed from a nursing unit at Bangkok Remand Prison to this hospital after suffering from insomnia, chest tightness, high blood pressure and low oxygen level at his finger tip.

It's nobody's business. Thaksin is also entitled to privacy regarding his medical history, something that is all too lightly taken in Thai press.

He is a very high profile person who has been convicted of several crimes whether they are trumped up is debateable but that is beside the point what is not debateable is he is a convict and as such he has forfeited many of his rights

The fact he appears to be receiving preferential treatment is divisive so clarity is required, the fact that the powers that be are being the total opposite spreads division and begs the question 'is Thaksin's imprisonment nothing but smoke and mirror's?'

I think anybody with an iota of common sense already knows the answer to that and the one's that don't are either a bit thick or deluded....
