September 25, 20232 yr Contrary to what I wrote earlier... ... There are a couple of posters who provide no contribution to threads whatsoever, their repetitive and incessant 'Brit-bashing' is just destroys threads... So, I think I may put a couple of these uneducated, pathetic, yet irritating losers on ignore... I sometimes have a little fun getting into the fray with some verbal sparing - but outright bigotry is something I'm not interesting in dealing with...

After one too many where they were clearly just trying to antagonize others, I thought that I'd improve my reading experience by simply placing them on ignore. There are a few others who can be annoying but those are usually hit-and-runs, whereas this one continues to be a prolific poster. And I'm not curious enough to see if anything has changed.

My case as well. The one on my list was just an argument looking for a place to land. When he tried telling me I didn't know what my experience was with a particular device, he got banished to my list. You still see a small notice when a banned member posts and can choose to look at it. He's posted a few times on this thread, and true to form, when I expand his comments, I realize I made the right choice. He offers no redeeming social value at all.

Funny you can see the blue line text, (You have chosen to ignore this poster ) or somethin like that. Your see 5 or 6 lines like that, one after the other on some posts, and you know his peeing on everyone and everything. Much better with out him.

On the other hand I have gotten some good tips from the "Movies" thread, and I used to enjoy writing on the "wine" thread, but that no longer exists. I've been posting since 2005 and have a couple of pages of people on ignore.
