Phuket Man Arrested for Stealing Over 227,000 Baht in Cannabis and Cash

Chalong – A Thai man was arrested in Phuket after he stole cannabis, cannabis edibles, and cash worth in total 227,000 baht.


The Chalong Police told the Phuket Express that on Sunday (September 24th) they arrested Mr. Duangwan Sawangjit, 42 from Ubon Ratchathani. He was arrested at a hut in Soi Wassana, Rawai.

 

Seized from him was cannabis, cannabis cookies, cannabis brownies, and cash, altogether valued at about 227,000 baht, or over 6000 USD.
